Welcome to The Coupon Lover! This blog is just starting out, so if you ever have any ideas please always email me to help improve this site. I'm new to blogging, but not new to couponing. I have been couponing for over 4 years now. I am NOT an extreme couponer, I am a normal couponer. What is a normal couponer? I only have 6 things of toothpaste for my family, not an extreme amount. If I do purchase more than a couple I ALWAYS donate them. I do not buy coupons from a coupon site for a big shop where I fill mutiple baskets. That's just nuts! So please just be a normal coupon lover and don't overdo it. Remember to donate a lot of your items for people who could really use that item.
I started couponing in 2007, when I read an article in a magazine talking about getting a free pizza! Wow! So I signed up on this site (which is no longer running) and it was a forum site. The ladies were all super friendly on there, would tell each other deals, had a coupon train, etc. You might be wondering what a "coupon train" is. =) Coupon Train is where there's a ton of misc coupons. You take what might fancy your eye and replace them with ones you're not going to use and the next persons In Search Of (ISO) list. Then you mail them to the next person on the list. So I signed up and then started learning quickly and was getting a ton of items free or even got paid for them! Then started teaching friends how to do it as well. Times have changed since that Extreme Couponing show aired. The coupon world is not the same because they abuse the policy. I would never swipe a shelf empty for my benefit on a product. That's ridiculous! I'm a nice couponer. I wish that show hadn't aired so I could still help out as much as I used to. NOT everything you can get for free. If you get it WAY cheap still be a happy camper =) I love helping others out and getting items cheap so I can donate more. That's my joy in couponing. I do like to save money for our family as well.
I thank you for reading my blog! Hopefully I'll get the hang of this blogging website stuff soon. My little webmaster sister is here to help! Thanks Mollie! I freakin love you!
